Merry Christmas from The Salvation Army Lakeshore Community Church!!

Please read information below carefully regarding Christmas Assistance for Lakeshore Community Church.

We will be doing food bank appointments as normal starting November 29th and ending December 10th. Along with your food you will be given a gift card towards your Christmas dinner. TOYS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED STARTING DECEMBER 13TH AND ENDING DECEMBER 24th. Please note also, registration is required and appointment necessary in order to obtain toys.

Should your postal code not fall under Lakeshore Community Church please call the office and we will direct you to the Salvation Army that services your postal coded area.


All toys will be prepackaged based on the information you provide us regarding your children. At the end of the application, there is a wish list section in which you can let us know the toys your children like. We will do the best we can with what we have to accommodate but please note we cannot guarantee they will receive what is listed.

Documents required for toy pick up

In order to obtain toys YOU MUST BRING the following information. Failure to do so may result in toys not being given to your family.

ID for you and EVERY member of your household.
Proof of rent expense
ALL sources of income which will include but not limited to: ODSP, OW, PENSION, CHILD TAX, TRILLIUM BENEFIT and GST. Should you be working please bring a pay stub.

Should your child not be in your custody full time or living in your household, please bring documents to support this. You will receive toys for your child and the address to The Salvation Army in their location will be given for further assistance.
